STIPULATIONS
Car Condition: Before we attempt to tune any vehicle we require that it be deemed in proper mechanical condition by us. This means the car must have no vacuum leaks, good oil pressure, no major oil leaks, safe suspension, safe brakes, decent alignment, good condition clutch, throttle, and fuel lines, and well made charge piping. We will not spend time fixing mechanical problems with the car by any means.
Tuning Process: CornBred Tuning has a much different method of tuning then any other street tuner. We feel that it is best to have a two man crew monitor and operate the car at all times to ensure the best quality street tune. To achieve this it is required that one of us drive the customers vehicle while the other works the computer. The owner is invited to ride along with us of course. This is the only way that we will street tune and there are zero exceptions. There are two reasons for us doing this. The first reason is that we are much more efficient in tuning the car and have a process that we follow on every car to make sure it has the best quality possible. The second reason for this is because we don’t know the customer and how they drive. Many of the cars we tune are freshly built and the owner has never driven a car of this level before. It is simply unsafe to be trying to tune a 300whp car when the driver is inexperienced and unprepared for it.
Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due 1 week prior to your tuning session. CornBred tuning accepts cash and paypal payment only. The payment is due in advance for paypal transfers and the 3% fee must be included. If the car is deemed in poor mechanical condition or has any other outlying problem that is discovered after you arrive, we will still charge $150 for our time. Also, we can repair small mechanical failures/problems for an additional $50/hour. However, this does not mean that we are a shop, so please do not show up with the intention that we will repair your car.
Car Prep: For every street tune we also ask that you bring your car with a good amount of fuel to avoid having to stop during the tune. It is a good idea to have at least half of a tank. We also ask that you bring a minimum of 1 fresh set of plugs so that we can check our final tune.
Disclaimer: Upon arrival you will be asked to sign a disclaimer. We will not lay hands on the vehicle until the disclaimer is signed. You can view the disclaimer in advance here: DISCLAIMER
